Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps in Peru Q4 2022 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Peru demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the following insights.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, peaking at around 35.9K in the last week of October. The app maintained strong weekly active users, starting at approximately 734K at the end of September and gradually increasing to around 784K by the end of December.

Google Maps Go experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 11.4K in the last week of September and dropping to about 6.6K in early December. However, the app saw a resurgence towards the end of December, with downloads climbing back to around 8.6K. Active users remained robust, fluctuating between 800K and 884K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth had a more erratic download trend, beginning with 6.5K in late September and peaking at 9.6K in mid-October. The app's active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 54.6K and reaching a high of 64.5K in mid-October before settling around 53.6K by the end of December.

GPS Navigation - Route Planner showed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from 3.9K to 4.9K throughout the quarter. Active users also displayed stability, starting at 5.9K in late September and ending the quarter at around 6.4K.

Maps All in One, Speedometer had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak at 4.6K in early October. Active users showed a gradual increase, starting at 3.2K in late September and reaching around 3K by the end of December. The app also generated minimal revenue, peaking at $2 in the last week of December.
